Talked about it over on Right Michigan this morning... yesterday the state Senate Finance Committee went further to stimulate the economy than this entire federal stimulus.

They voted to end the MBT surcharge which would re-invest over $1.2 billion into Michigan&#039;s economy over the next three years without a single government program or expansion.  

Of course it was a party-line vote... four Republicans voted YES and three Democrats, including their likely 2010 AG nominee Gretchen Whitmer, voted NO on the tax-cut-stimulus.
